MASTERING MOTION Course. This comprehensive course is designed to equip students with advanced animation techniques. Participants will be able to create impressive animation effects, devise dynamic combat designs, and simulate 3D camera movements in their hand-held 2D animations. The training will be delivered by an award-winning animator and students will be introduced to the methods used in leading Western animation studios and studios. One of the main goals of this course is to empower students to create animations with believable character performances. The course also provides an opportunity to network with a focused community of animation students.

A significant portion of this course is dedicated to developing drawing skills. Drawing is an integral part of high-level, frame-by-frame animation. In this section, students learn how to design better characters for their animations, design with more confidence, apply more energy to their designs, and visualize their concepts faster. This section includes ten review lessons on design principles and twelve advanced lessons on mastering drawing, totaling four hours of video content, three exercises, and two short quizzes. The other main part of this course is mastering animation. In this section, students are introduced to advanced animation principles and techniques through twenty-two lessons, totaling six and a half hours of video content, six exercises, six source files, and two short quizzes. The five new and unique principles of animation presented in this course will elevate students’ animations beyond the twelve principles covered in the introductory course. These principles make animations faster, more energetic, more visually appealing, and more dynamic, giving them a unique character.
