ArmorTools is a set of tools that expands the capabilities of the MS Windows operating system in the field of security and protection of confidential user information. ArmorTools allows the user to create secure and encrypted virtual disks using AES128/AES256 algorithms and encrypt the contents of files and folders using any file as a password. The software also removes traces of user activity on the computer, clears the history of visiting sites and deletes confidential information without the possibility of recovery. In addition, it also provides a set of additional settings for the MS Windows operating system. ArmorTools includes the following tools: Extra Disks, File Shredder, File Encryptor, Objects Eraser, System Tweaker.

Program features and functions

• This tool is designed to create virtual disks on a computer. With Extra Disks, the user can create three types of virtual disks: encrypted disks, file-based disks, and folder-based disks. Encrypted disks use AES128/AES256 encryption algorithms and are designed to store the user’s confidential and private information. File-based virtual disks are designed to make it easier to work with a large number of small files when moving them from one computer to another, such as copying a large number of photos or music. Folder-based virtual disks also make it easier to access the contents of nested subfolders. For example, a music folder can be mounted as a drive named m: or a photo folder as a disk named p:.
• This tool is designed to encrypt files or the contents of a folder. As a password, the user can set his own password or use any file as a key for encryption. For example, when sending confidential information via email, the desired file can be encrypted using a wallpaper or Calculator program as a key. After transferring the information to the recipient, he can decrypt the encrypted file using the same image from the same version of the operating system.
• This tool is designed to delete files and folder contents without the possibility of their subsequent recovery.
• This tool removes traces of user activity on the computer. It clears the history of programs run, search history, history of recently opened documents, and history of various Internet browsers.
• This tool is a collection of additional settings related to security, system capacity, and user preferences that are not included in the core components of MS Windows.
