Photo Cartoon is a graphics editor whose main purpose is to provide a set of ready-made filters for turning a photo into a drawing, cartoon or sketch. However, its capabilities are not limited to just a set of effects; the program also has a set of tools in the image equalizer section that helps the user improve the quality of the uploaded photos. The program’s interface is simple and includes a large preview section that displays the uploaded photo. Unfortunately, it does not support batch operations, so the user will have to process several photos one by one. All graphic filters are displayed in a neat manner on the left, and by applying each of them, you can see the final result in the preview section. These filters are designed to turn a photo into a caricature, cartoon, watercolor painting or pencil sketch. The loading time of some filters may be longer than others.

Program features and functions

• The graphic equalizer is located on the right side of the main window, where you can find sliders for various parameters such as brightness, contrast, saturation, gamma, and hue. The image changes as you move the slider so you can preview the resulting image.
• There is also an option to add text watermarks to the uploaded image, which is useful for copyright protection. You can change the text color, font, and background of the watermark. However, there is no option to adjust the transparency of the watermark or to insert picture watermarks that you have edited in another program.
• Photo Cartoon lets you quickly turn a photo into a cartoon, but it doesn’t offer any special features that other reliable photo editors don’t. The app allows for quick editing and offers a satisfying set of effects that help the user transform their photo, but it lacks some of the features that its competitors offer.
