Brand Design Mastery Prerequisites

What kind of software and tools do I need to take this course?

For logo design, we demonstrate how to use Adobe Illustrator but alternatives like Affinity Designer works just as well (Figma is also a vector editing tool, which you can work with, but for Logo design we recommend using a more robust vector editing tool like Adobe Illustrator).

For some of our templates we use Adobe InDesign which is great for layouts that you can later export as PDFs, but the same layouts can be achieved with any other design software as well.

Having access to a bitmap editing tool like Adobe Photoshop or Affinity Photo is also helpful to create designs & mockups that go beyond vector editing.

Finally, we use Figma for the submission of projects in this course, a free Figma account is enough for our needs.
