- Building a Vue.js Front End: In this section, you will learn why Vue, how to set up and run a Vue project, project structure, creating application pages, routing, adding data and styles, and using modular components.
- Building a Node Back End: You will get acquainted with Node.js and Express, set up an Express server, test the servers with Postman, create routes in Express, and restart the server with nodemon.
- Adding MongoDB to the Back-end: You’ll learn why you should use MongoDB, how to set up and connect to it, add data to your Node.js server and GET endpoints, load products, and manage data in MongoDB.
- Front- and Back-end Connection: You will be introduced to the Axios library and learn how to load data from the server, add and remove items from the shopping cart.
- Adding Authentication with Firebase Authentication: You’ll learn why you should use Firebase Authentication, create a Firebase project, send Firebase Auth email links, sign in with an email link, listen for authentication state changes, and log out the user.
- Site Hosting: You will learn about the publishing process, how to prepare the front-end for publishing, and finally how to publish the application.
