Forever 89 Visco is a VST/AU plugin that allows the user to model and manipulate any sample. It removes the usual limitations of working with recorded audio files and acts as a beat maker, sound design tool, and drum machine for live performance. The tool is designed around a concept called the “Blob”; a “Blob” is a flexible representation of the user’s voice on a two-dimensional surface. Using various tools such as the hand, magnet, and eraser along with a crossfader, the user can grab, stretch, compress, and blend their sound as desired. Visco allows the user to shift samples in frequency and time, blend the characteristics of two sounds together, and fine-tune each sound to fit into their mix.
