This course allows you to do this. This course has three main goals. One of them allows you to test your skills in Power BI, Power Query and DAX. The second goal is to showcase your Power Query, DAX, and Power BI skills to future employers. Often times, when you’re interviewing for a job position, the prospective employer will want to see a sample of your work and a demonstration of your skills. This course, delivered by an experienced DAX and Power BI instructor, lets you do just that. The third objective is to provide prospective employees with a test that allows you to assess an individual’s DAX and data visualization and Power BI/Query data analysis skills.

This course includes about 30 skill tests based on a very realistic retail sales data model (Contoso DW). DAX problems/challenges, Power BI and Power Query skill tests will be provided and you will be asked to answer them to measure your knowledge and experience. For each test, a comprehensive answer will be provided. In addition, you will be asked to do some data analysis using Power BI that will test your knowledge of which images to use to solve a particular problem and how to use them. You will also be asked to troubleshoot some common issues that any Power BI developer might encounter in their work with Power BI.
