The elegance of Julia when it comes to translating thoughts and models to code is brilliant. Learn the core of Julia in this course and get up to speed with this next-generation language. We will start off with the basics of the language and then apply the concepts to data science and machine learning.

This is a concise course. We will get through the concepts quickly without getting bogged down with the basic concepts such as loops. We will discuss how these concepts are differently handled in Julia but concisely. You will learn how to use Julia to do some data wrangling and then machine learning — including deep learning and neural networks. Finally, we will get to creating our own neural networks from scratch in Julia. Take a look at the attached file. It has all the resources we will use in the course. Your project at the end of the course is going to be building a neural network using the Flux library we discuss in the class. You can apply the neural network to any type of problem: natural language process, computer vision, classification, or just about anything you might be interested in.
